Yes. My last name really is pronounced [bāsik]. And a mentor of mine really gave me that nickname. So I put it into my e-mail signature.

As a writer, I love making work I'm excited to share with people. That's the dream: to make fun stuff that gives people a break from their daily grind and they can just enjoy.

​

Now let's pretend this our first day of camp, and here are some fun facts about me (for obvious reasons, we'll stick with the rule of 3):

  1. My bowling high score is 269. I'm very good. 

  2. I play pool left-handed. I don't know why. 

  3. Growing up, I didn't care for milk in my cereal.
